SO1 Roofing is Sobir Akhmedov and Bobirbek “Bob” Kodirov — two roofers who met on the tools in Sydney. Between us we have spent years installing metal roofs for other companies. In the summer of 2026 we left those jobs, joined forces, and started SO1 Roofing to run the work our own way.
Sobir Akhmedov arrives in Australia and starts on the tools as a roofing labourer, learning the trade.
Bobirbek “Bob” Kodirov arrives with roofing experience from home and works as a roof installer.
Years of metal re-roofs across Sydney — five with one company for Sobir, four on the tools for Bob.
The two leave their jobs, join forces, and start SO1 Roofing together.
